🤝 Core Community Rules

• Be respectful. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, slurs, or discrimination
• Play fair. No cheats, exploits, macros/scripts for advantage, or unfair client mods
• Keep it friendly. No griefing, targeted trolling, or intentionally ruining others' sessions
• No spam. Avoid message flooding, advertising, self-promo, or link dumping without permission
• No impersonation. Don't pose as staff or other players
• Keep content appropriate. No doxxing, threats, gore/NSFW, or illegal content

🧩 Mods & Fair Play

We love creativity, but balance matters:

• Client mods are allowed only where the server or mode explicitly permits them
• Mods must not provide competitive advantages or harm server stability (e.g., aim assists, packet edits, malicious injectors)
• Texture/UI/QoL mods are usually fine if they don't reveal hidden data or break game rules
• When unsure, ask staff before using a mod

💬 Chat & Voice Etiquette

• Debate ideas, don't attack people. If a conversation heats up, step away or move it off-server
• English is the default for moderation clarity (unless a server/channel specifies otherwise)
• No excessive swearing, slurs, or shock content. Keep memes and copypasta reasonable
• Voice chat: no mic spam, ear-rape, soundboards, or blasting music in public channels

🧑‍🚀 Names, Skins, and Profiles

• Names, skins, avatars, and bios must follow the same standards: no hate symbols, sexual content, or harassment
• Parody is fine; impersonation of real people or staff is not

💱 Trading & Advertising

• Real-money trades, selling accounts, or off-platform deals are not allowed unless an official channel explicitly approves it
• No unsolicited ads. Community spotlights may be allowed in the proper channel with staff permission

🎥 Streaming, Recording, and Privacy

• Streaming and screenshots are generally allowed on public servers; respect privacy in private lobbies
• Never share personal information (yours or others'). No doxxing.

🛡️ Safety & Security

• Do not attempt to DDoS, probe, or attack any PotatoServer service or player
• Report bugs/exploits privately to staff; do not publish or abuse them
• Ban evasion (alts/VPNs) will escalate penalties

📣 Reporting & Appeals

• If something violates these rules, report it via our support ticket or Discord channels with evidence (timestamps, screenshots, clips)
• Appeals must be respectful and include context. Staff decisions aim to protect community safety and fair play

⚖️ Enforcement Ladder

Penalties depend on severity and history. Typical progression:

• Informal reminder → Formal warning → Temporary mute/kick → Temporary ban → Permanent ban

🗺️ Server-Specific Rules

Some game modes have extra rules (e.g., mod lists, build limits, raid windows). Those are posted in their server info/rotation pages and are enforced the same as this Code.
