To maintain a fun, fair, and respectful gaming environment, PotatoServer has an active moderation team. If you encounter a player violating our server rules or Code of Conduct, follow the steps below to submit a formal report.
1. Forum Account Login Required
To submit and track your report, you must log in using your official forum credentials:
- Our player report panel is fully integrated with the PotatoServer Forums.
- If you do not have an account yet, please register on the forum before continuing.
- Using your forum account prevents spam and allows moderators to update you on the status of your report.
2. Evidence Requirements
We enforce a strict evidence-based moderation policy. Word-of-mouth reports or text descriptions alone are generally not sufficient. Please have the following ready:
- Screenshots: Capture uncropped, full-screen images showing player names, chat logs, or the violation. Do not edit or draw over the screenshot.
- Video Clips: Video files/clips are highly recommended for hack reporting, griefing, or active trolling. Upload the clip to a host (like YouTube, Streamable, or directly in the form) and provide the link.
- Details Needed: Note the exact game/server name, player's username, date, time (including timezone), and a brief description of what happened.
3. Submission Guidelines
- Submit one report per incident. Do not submit duplicate reports for the same event.
- Falsifying evidence or filing joke/malicious reports is a severe violation and will result in forum and server bans.
- Moderators review all incoming reports. Action depends on severity and player history, based on our Code of Conduct progression.
⚠️ Reports containing incomplete details or lacking concrete evidence (screenshots/video files) will be closed without action.
