1. Forum Account Login Required
To submit and track server issues, you must log in using your official forum credentials:
- The server report system is linked to the PotatoServer Forums.
- Using your forum login helps prevent spam and allows our sysadmins to notify you when the issue has been resolved.
- If you do not have a forum account yet, please register on the forum before continuing.
2. Details to Include
When reporting server issues, please provide specific data so our sysadmins can troubleshoot quickly:
- Server Name & Game: Specify the exact game (e.g., Rust, DayZ) and server name/IP.
- Issue Type:
- Connection / Offline: Server not showing on the list, infinite loading screen, or connection timeout.
- Performance / Lag: Server lag spikes, high ping (relative to normal), packet loss, or server freezes.
- Bugs / Mods: Mod versions out of date, broken plugins, or database rollback issues.
- Time of Occurrence: Specify when the issue started, including your timezone.
3. Helpful Diagnostics (Optional)
- Screenshots: Upload screenshots showing connection error messages, console logs, or performance overlays.
- Trace Route / Ping Logs: For persistent network routing issues, a trace route or ping log can help identify network bottlenecks between you and the host.
